This walk group will be dropped off in Hebden Bridge on the way to Todmorden.
The walk is along the Rochdale Canal side from Hebden Bridge to Todmorden. Good going all the way. Easy

Short Walk 7.5 miles circular
From Todmorden bus station heads south along A6033 past Golden Lion pub. Along Honey Hole Lane and Shoebroad Lane. continues south on Pennine Bridleway at Rake End down to South Hollingworth Farm. Then heads east past Cat Stones and Higher Scout to Warland Reservoir. Then north along Warland Drain and northwest then to Gaddings Dam. Walk part way around the dam leaving it to head southeast along Langfield Edge. Then Northwest and north to Croft Carr. East and north then up to the canal and west along that into Todmorden. There are both gradual and steep climbs on the walk and some boggy bits.

Medium Walk
Medium Walk 10 miles circular
From the bus station, along the road to Golden Lion pub and up through Longfield housing estate via a few sets of fairly steep steps.to Roughside Lane following it southeast to Lumbutts Road. Turn east along the road for a short distance to the Shepherds Rest pub. Cross the road there onto open moorland and a steep climb up to Gaddings Dam. Around the west bank of the dam to then head southeast to Warland Reservoir. We go around the east side of the reservoir and head south past Light Hazzles and White Holmes reservoirs. Then west over Chelborn Moor to the east side of the Rochdale canal.From there we follow footpaths heading north past Warland, Bottomley, North Hollingworth Farm, Rake End and back to Todmorden. Boggy in places on the walk. Steep climbing early in the walk as described. Undulating in the last third or so of the walk.

Long Walk
Long Walk 14,7 miles circular
Starts as per medium walk to Roughside Lane then swings south east to join Lumbutts Road further east. Heads east through Lumbutts and Mankinholes. Then onto London Road track and up to Stoodley Pike. From there east to Sunderland plantation and then south to Withens Clough reservoir. Then west and south to Earland Drain. Then east and south to White Holme reservoir. Then north and west on the Rochdale Way at warland reservoir. From there northwest to South Hollingworth Farm and back to Todmered as per medium walk.There are steep climbs on this walk and encompasses moorland that may be boggy.
