This walk is fully booked, please do not travel if you have not already booked and paid.

The December walk will be an all inclusive social occasion, starting at Blakey, North York Moors.

It is 6 miles going northwest on the Dale Head Road. At Hill Cotts turn North and follow the route of the old railway line to the head of the Dale then turn south to Blakey Slag. We then climb gently west up to the Lion Inn. A gradual overall ascent of about 300 metres back to The Lion Inn for Christmas Dinner and the famous  Walking Club Members Raffle.
