SHORT

CIRCULAR WALK

From the seafront at Saltburn we head south east up Saltburn Gill through this Nature Park past Bennison Banks and to the west of the village of Brotton. We then turn to the east through fields along a trail known as Cleveland Street until we reach Skinningrove on the coast. From here we follow The Cleveland Way national trail along the cliffs back to Saltburn.

MEDIUM

CIRCULAR WALK

From the seafront at Saltburn we follow The Cleveland Way national trail heading just west of south through a valley beside Skelton Beck where you can see the magnificent brick built railway viaduct. Continuing in the same direction we pass through the villages of Skelton and Skelton Green then along Airy Hill Lane past Cripple Hill. We them cross over from the Cleveland Way to a trail known as Cleveland Street and head east through fields until we reach Skinningrove on the coast. From here we follow The Cleveland Way national trail along the cliffs back to Saltburn.

LONG

LINEAR WALK

The long walkers will be dropped off the bus at a point on the A171 to pick up a trail known as the Tees Link. Following this trail in generally an easterly direction passing Pinethorpe and through Hutton Village the path climbs up to meet The Cleveland Way national trail passing through Guisborough Woods to Slapewath where they cross over from the Cleveland Way to a trail known as Cleveland Street and head east through fields until we reach Skinningrove on the coast. From here we follow The Cleveland Way national trail along the cliffs back to Saltburn.
