From lay-by on A170 head North above Kirkdale Wood West. Follow down to Hold Caldron. Those wanting a short walk can turn South here on the East side of the beck. Climb back above the wood following the Tabular Hills Walk to Skiplam Grange. Descend into the valley to Cogg Hole Wath, return South at the bottom of the East wood beside Hodge Beck to Welburn, then head North West back to the Lay-by.
