CIRCULAR WALK

On arriving at the main car park toilets are available if needed.

Follows the Cleveland Way (west) pass the Griff Lodge and follow the bridge to river R.YE, turn right and pass Rievaulx Abby. Follow the path up to the B1257. Go south pass the Griff Farm / Griff Lodge and east on the Cleveland Way back to Helmsley.

Follow the Cleveland Way 3/4 miles

Pubs to go in The Brewer (£3 per pint), the Royal Oak and several cafes.

The coach will leave Helmsley at 4.30pm

CIRCULAR WALK

The route heads North on the starting section of the Tabular Hills walk following Ash Dale to Keld Lane. It then heads West through farmland and woodland to pass through Oscar Park farm to reach the B1257. It then heads South to Rievaulx village and the remains of the Abbey, The Cleveland Way route is followed back East to reach a path through Duncombe Park back to Helmsley

CIRCULAR  WALK

The route follows the same path as the Medium Walk to Keld Lane but continues East along Keld Lane to Carleton. It then heads North and then North west to reach Rievaulx Moor. Heading South on forest paths the route poins the Medium walk route just West of High Braxtons farm back to Helmsley.
