WOLDS WAY TO FILEY BRIGG
This is a linear walk along the Yorkshire Wolds Way with the finishing point being the cafe on the large car park which backs on to Filey Briggs. All quoted distances are to this points.

SHORT

LINEAR WALK

The start point for this walk is where the road coming up from Flixton intersects the Yorkshire Wolds Way. We then circumnavigate Camp Dale turning back on ourselves as we head up to Stockendale Farm which is the start point for the Extra Short Walk. 7 Miles, 3 furlongs, 4 chains and about 7 yards.

EXTRA SHORT WALK

The walk begins at Stockendale Farm on Malton Road and we soon have our first look at the sea as we walk towards the village of Muston where we have a final drop off point for thiose who wish to partake in The Stroll.

4 Miles, 3 furlongs, 9 chains and about 9 yards.

THE STROLL

Setting off from the Ship Inn in the village of Muston we continue to follow the Wolds Wayt along the main road to Filey before turning off at a Caravan Park at Muston Grange.. The path then takes us around the edge of the Caravan Park, then passes Filey Golf course. We continue straight ahead following the acorn signs until the path reaches some steps which takes us down from the cliff top to the promenade above the beach. Following the promenade, we walk along the sea front to our destination of the cafe in the car park behind Filey Brigg.

2 miles, 5 furlongs, 5 chains and about 4 yards.

MEDIUM

LINEAR WALK

Leaving Ganton we pass Binnington Wolds Farm, then Staxton Wolds Farm before crossing Staxton and Flixton Wolds. The path then intersects with the road coming up from Flixton which is the start point for the Short Walk 12 Miles, 4 furlongs and 4 chains.

LONG

LINEAR WALK

The walk commences at Sherburn and we join the Wolds Way near High Mill Farm. The route takes us through Potter Brompton and on to Ganton which is the start point for the Medium Walk. 16 Miles and 4 chains.
