LONG

CIRCULAR WALK

A Moderate-difficult walk

Follow the short walk as far as Padfield then take the Longdendale Trail as far as Crowden.

Head onto the Pennine Way to the top of the Bleaklow plateau, then continue along the Pennine Way returning back to Glossop via the Doctors Gate footpath.

CIRCULAR  WALK

There will be a toilet stop enroute at Crowden. All walkers dropped off at the Railway Stn in Glossop and picked up after

Long steady uphill walk

From Settle we head for old Glossop then take the footpath to Doctors Gate going up hill to the Pennine Way.

Turning right and following the path to the top off Mill Hill. returning to Glossop via Harry Hut and Gnat Hole

SHORT

CIRCULAR  WALK

Short uphill stretches 7.5 MILES

circular low level walk around Glossop trough Whitfield to Mossy Lea farm and old Glossop, then as per the Easy short walk.

EASY SHORT 4.5 MILES

from Glossop Railway station head for the Swineshaw Resevoir through old Glossop, cross the fields to Padfield, returning to Glossop via Lower Dinting.
