STROLL

CIRCULAR WALK

which is a good place for a break as there are ample rocks and places to sit.

Turn right here and head to Haworth  passing Middle Intake Farm to Moor Side Lane. It is possible to simply cross the road here and walk along Cemetery Road, But it is recommended to turn left and walk down to the bottom of the hill before following the second signposted path to the right. This brings us to the end of Cemetery Road and allows us to enjoy views of the valley as we walk back into Haworth.

At the end of the Road, we turn right walking along the main road before picking up a path to our right which takes us back to the Museum Car Park.

SHORT

CIRCULAR WALK

This walk follows the same route as the Stroll walk until we reach the Bronte Bridge.

From here we continue up a steady incline for just over a mile until we reach the site of the ruined cottage at Top Withins.

This part of the moor is that which is said to be the inspiration for Emily Bronte to write Wuthering Heights.

From Top Withins we turn back following the Pennine Way before we turn right towards Hill End as we make our way back down to Bronte Bridge.

We then pick up the same route taken by the Strollers as we return to Haworth and the Bronte Museum Car Park.
