The long walk takes the same route as the Medium until Greenhead Road, it then climbs up Black Hill 582m.

The walk then heads SW over

Dean Head Moss back to the road, then follow medium route back to Marsden.

From Marsden walk South along the

Kirklees Way passing four Reservoirs to Wessenden Head. Then follow Greenhead Road west for one mile then traverse north past Black Moss Reservoir. At Redbrook follow the Standedge Trail back to Marsden.

Heading west from Marsden along the Huddersfield Canal to Standedge Tunnel Visitors Centre.

Ascent Pule Hill then descend to circele Redbrook Reservoir, then head east back to Marsden.
